Fife and Drum Corps

The Red River Fife & Drum Corps is made up of talented musicians in connection with the Red River Battalion Civil War Reenacting group and includes members from all over Texas. Our goal is to accurately portray the life and music of Civil War field musicians. We march alongside the men of the Red River Battalion Reenacting group and play tunes that Civil War soldiers may have heard 150 years ago.

If you are interested in joining our Fife & Drum Corps, learning about Civil War fife and drum music, or if you would like more information about what we do, please contact Josh at RRFifeandDrum@9thtexas.org

We currently only perform for the Red River Battalion during living histories and Civil War re-enactments, or for organizations with which we have previously performed. The Red River Fife & Drum Corps does not endorse any political views or parties, and will not be able to perform for party-specific functions.
We strictly adhere to all safety, uniform, and general regulations set forth by the Red River Battalion.
